Golden Smiles again
Just wanted to let everybody know that Lady is back to normal. I think she was down with some post puppy aches and pains....let me explain. We have a new neighbor here in Phoenix who has a 10 month old, mixed breed puppy (pictures later when he actually holds still for a minute!). We think Lady is 9 or 10 years old, but when she goes to the dog park or (as in this case) plays with a puppy in the back yard, she thinks she is 3 years old again. Just like some of us weekend warriors, she will sprain this or tweak that and moves a little slow for awhile. So an aspirin here, massages and belly rubs there will usually do the trick. During her daily long walk, she does just fine, especially after we both warm up! So here she is, back in her favorite GO place (she jumps in with no problem, but Dad always helps her out). I believe the ramp will be coming out soon and will be a permanent part of the GO place! Think we will go see Logan this weekend (but taking it easy, cause he is a maniac of kisses and energy).

First of all, thank-you so much for your kind comment on the loss of our boy Cowboy--You know how hard it is to lose our pups, but it's made easier by people who understand what you're going through. I'm slowly catching up on blog visits and was sorry to read that your Lady was a bit under the weather--However I'm glad she's back on her feet and has her bounce back!! It's always great fun to see those years melt away from our pups when the youngin's are around, but there's that flip-side that they sometimes pay for it later--Just like we do!! :-))) Enjoy your weekend!!!
I know just how she feels -- our hearts say go and play but our body says -- Now WHY did you do that?
Bless your heart Lady - it's all about enjoying life no matter how old your are, right girl?
Thank goodness for ramps. I had to use one until Jack realized it was easier for him to jump into the car than have me pick him up :)
Mom SOOOOOO wishes she had one fur Merdie several times this week!
Merdie khan easily turn into a furry heavy sakhk when she wants to!
We are happy to see Lady is feeling better!

Woof! Woof! Lady ... glad you are back to normal. Mmmm I think I will be needing a "ramp" too. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
Glad to hear Lady is on the mend. Nothin' better than mature gold. Somethin' alluring about the white faced girls.

Well Lady sure is a beautiful girl. Homer J. thinks that she's gorgeous. We'll try to make it through some of your past blogs to get to know you better. We like GReat friends.

Thanks for stopping by to visit. We like hearing from friends. Lady is beautiful. Glad she is with you. Our Sasha is about ready for a ramp we think. She will be10 on May 1 (as close as we can figure out). Sasha understands Lady's aches & pains. She gets them when she forgets herself & plays or runs hard. She was 1 1/2 yrs old when M & D rescued her.

Sam does the same thing - he lives a little too large and ends up hurting. We are glad Lady is feeling so much better!
