Probably not the most flattering picture of Lady, on her back in the bath tub, but from comments by employees at the U-Bathe-Em doggy emporiums we frequent, very few owners bathe their dogs this way. Lady, like my other Goldens, tolerates her baths and cooperates fully with only a little coaxing from Dad. Not bad for a 10 year old rescue girl. I'm pretty sure she never had to do this before. Leaving her special shampoo on for 10 minutes (her belly is critical) has cleared up the nagging skin problems she had last year. So now everyone is happy and Lady always gets complemented on her lovely coat. Needless to say, she loves that, especially when it is followed by much petting and cooing.

HI KT!! Lady really is a beautiful girl!! Your post reminded me of our first Golden who used to sleep in the bathtub--But our crew has never laid down for a bath--They are usually inching their way out of the tub!

Oh so sorries that we've been so MIA lately. Avalon has sure taken up Ma's time... bummer! But you look just lovely on your back in that tub - super spa, Lady! Avalon and me have to get spa treatments this afternoon too - sulk... long pm fur moi! And your coat IS just gorgeous, girl! You are too bootiful!

Woof! Woof! Well it must be a Golden Thing cause I do the same thing. For sure you feel GREAT after the bath. You look Beautiful. BTW: Since you're a senior like me ... What shampoo/conditioner do you use? I developed several allergies on particular brands. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
