Remembering Toby

1989 - Sept. 8, 2002
Toby lived a good, long life with my brother Chip. He was a Sunny/Solo puppy and except for Cosmo, he was the Sunny puppy I knew the best. Very much like his MaMa dog Solo, he was happy, carefree and obsessed with retrieving and snuggling. Chip sent these pictures up last month, so we thought this would be a good time to display them. We miss you Toby. See ya at the bridge.

Good looking boy

Caught in a stretch!

This is one of my favorites. Such a happy boy.

Toby could smile on command, or just smooth one side of his muzzle.

Couple months before he died. Toby loved beach roaming on the Oregon coast. I'm sure that's what he's doing right now.

Hey there....
I'm back after trying to leave a comment last night...computer feeze and all that !:)
I just wanted to say it was lovely to meet Angel Toby - he is the first "Toby" I have met since naming our new pup this name too! What a beautiful boy he was and that 'smile' thing is quite a talent. Maxdog was just over 2 years old when Toby went to the bridge.
Lovely memories though...

What great photos and memories! I am always grateful that time can heal the sting of the loss and you can remember the good times and warm feelings that come from having them in your life, but we will always miss them, won't we?

Great photos of Toby. I especially love the last one on the beach. I think dogs look so regal as they age, and that picture just captures a life of joy.
