Our friend Luke....
The minute I saw The Luke on his blog, I was drawn to his handsome, senior Golden Lukeness. He reminded me so much of my heart dog Devo. I followed his adventures and marveled even more at the similarities. News of his death from cancer fills my heart with indescribable sadness. Our collective sympathies go out to his family and all who loved him. We will miss you very much Luke. We are so happy you found the best furever home and lived the Golden life until the end. See you at the bridge my friend.

So very sad.
Well pawed!
Mom knows she'll have a special helper riding shotgun today -
She thought it would be Chief - somehow she wasn't thinking it would be The Luke -

Mom is crying - she adored Luke. She has already sent love to his Mom and Bleu.

Awwww, Lady - what a beautiful tribute - Mamma has leaky eyes - we loved the Luke. We all send love and warmth and hugs to Amanda and the Bleu. RIP dear Luke - we thought we saw a new bright star shining in the skies just south of us last eve.
Big Hugs xoxoxo

Our momma sheds tears with the rest of the blogging community on the loss of such a dear, sweet soul. If there is any lesson to be learned from the Luke's life, and rescue, is that it is a GOOD THING to take a senior rescue into your home and life because the rewards and the love received are priceless.
Rest with the angels, the Luke, until we meet again...
Another sad loss indeed...But as we both know, he will have some wonderful company as he waits at the bridge...
We're so very sad to hear about The Luke.
We're heartbroken to hear the news. We've only known Luke for a few months but it feels like we've known him for years. We will miss him.

Wonderful post.
Sweet hugs,

We also were so very sad to hear about the Luke. We will always love and remember him. May he run free at the Rainbow Bridge until we meet again. Lots of love, Holly and mom
