The dog clock.....
Easton has been with us for a year and a half now. There has not been one day that I can remember when he and I have been apart. Tomorrow I am taking a trip; unfortunately Easton can't go. His well being will be in Andi's capable hands so there are no worries. Needless to say Easton and I have become very attached, but as long as he gets his groceries, a walk and a little attention everyday, he will be just fine. The picture below is the face I get anytime I leave and he can't go. That's pretty much where I find him when I come home. A week is a long time to sit on the landing, so I'm sure he'll find something to do. After all, there are squirrels to chase and toys to honk....he'll be just fine.

Poor Easton. You'll have to call him on the phone at least 3 times a day! :o)
I've no doubt your boy is going to miss you, but he and Andi will have a great time together that I'm sure will include sharing their stories of you and having a good laugh or two at your expense--It's just what Goldens do when we're gone, and wives too!
:-)
Aw! Hope the time goes by fast!
I am sure he'll feign apathy when woo return ;-)
Safe travels and stuff!
One week in doggie time is like forever.
Woof! Woof! I can tell from Easton look he is sad and going to miss you. Have a great trip and enjoy the weather. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
Sam pines when I'm gone too. Easton really looks like he needs a hug!
